Went to pick them up from school. Surprise! The teachers shoves a baby chicken in a box that a classmate parents decided to hand over as a present to everyone at class.

Who the fucks thinks doing that is a good idea? How is someone that clueless? The baby chicken will be going to a farm that we have, but it’s still infuriating

Since the day I noticed that the volume with my soundbar connected to my Roku tv goes up 3 except for when it goes from 21 to 25, nothing has made me more mad. I wish I could just make it go up by single numbers or 2’s. I prefer it always being on even numbers

Visited my mother for the week since she has some health issues(pneumonia and early dementia) discovered today this was how she’s thawed and cleaned chicken for years now

Edit: My mothers a retired nurse she worked night shift and would cook while we was asleep most nights we’d always just eat from the leftovers the day before. To add: I have never worked at a restaurant and I still don’t eat out anywhere either I always cook at my home for me and my husband.

Opened up tortillas and it turns out some absolute weirdo took a bite out of half of them, put them back onto the shelf. Giving me flashbacks to the 2019 trend where people were licking ice cream in store and putting it back.

Had it in there, covered with a bit of wax paper, for 40 seconds. Exploded around the 32 second mark, and made such a racket that I thought the little glass bowl had cracked or shattered.

Oh, well. 🤷‍♀️ Lesson learned.

EDIT: Some clarifications!

First, I love you all! You all are hilarious.

Second, I feel I should clarify that the egg was already hardboiled. And peeled. I made six nearly-hardboiled eggs Wednesday night, to go with an east-asian-style vegetable and noodle soup, and we had eggs leftover.

Third, I don't obsessively clean my microwave. I prefer to NEVER clean it, so I don't cook splattery stuff in there, and everything is covered with a square of non-toxic waxed paper. Works great. I obsessively keep it clean, I don't obsessively clean. If you saw my house, you'd know that it could use more obsessive cleaning. 😂😂😂

I already had to scrunch the frank a little to keep it from hitting the water... but now that the beens are in play I dont know what to do other than buying a new toilet or a thicker toilet seat. Do those even exist?
