I need trans friends irl and have no idea how to find them

for some additional information, im 16, transfem, i live in texas, and the only friends ive ever had have moved across the country.

i have my driver's license, and am able to travel somewhat freely, with some restrictions from my parents. (1\~ hour distance)

ive tried looking for groups in my area, going to usually trans/lgbtq+ populated areas, but i haven't had a lot of success. im very held back by my parents, who are incredibly homophobic, but i have opportunities to visit my older brother where i am given more freedom.

im tired of just going to lgbtq+ spaces and hoping to find someone who wants to be my friend, since it hasn't been working. is there any group or community that helps with these kinds of problems?
