Hi there.

An update I am sure you all were expecting. My sweet girl started to deteriorate moreso over the last week or two. I made the decision to have our vet come over and say our final goodbye. Her final

days were filled with treats, cuddles, listening to the birds on my balcony and love. My friend did come

over for a photo shoot not once but twice. (She found out she had a sharper lense to use) I am

so grateful she was able to capture the memories. I will post one of the photos she took.

I am not ready for the silence when I come home or waking up to her right next to me. She was the best friend a gal could ask for. It was the hardest thing but I know she is not suffering. She left this world in my arms with me petting her. I appreciate all the love and support. Also sending love to all of you going through something similar.

I'm a volunteer at a cat rescue and this girl got the entire staff falling in love with her within a day or so. She jumps on shoulders and is content just being a warm and purring scarf for hours if you'd let her.

She's also found someone to adopt her within 2 weeks of being here (not surprising since she's extremely affectionate) despite already being 9 years old. I guess her being absolutely stunning also helped.

I'm a little sad to see her go but I still wanted to share this beauty with you!

Today we took her to the vet for the first time. The staff fell in love and were so excited that "kitten season" is starting. Everything is looking good and the vaccine schedule has started.

Mapew aka Maple 🍁 just got some pumpkin, well her face did.

My soul dog, Dena, passed away on March 1st, and I miss her every day. She was the best dog–gentle, sweet, and kind. Though she was born deaf and her vision wasn't perfect, nothing was ever a problem for her. She loved our adventures and every person she met. I miss her so much and my days feel empty without her. 💔
